This study targets a group of people who require care, that is, people with special needs. The significance of this study lies in addressing the main problem that this group suffers from, which is the lack of awareness and information that leads to the acceptance of that group in society. This work aims to create a mobile application that contributes to spreading knowledge among people with special needs and enhancing their skills to help them become accepted by community members. This application supports people with special needs with training resources, education, suitable jobs, and other services helping them in developing their experiences and knowledge to be active in society. In addition, an evaluation questionnaire has been developed to collect data from both the private and public sectors to classify the building blocks necessary for KSA to incorporate the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing into the healthcare sector. As a result, most respondents acknowledge the importance of a streamlined data-gathering process, the IoT, and cloud-based computing to meet their healthcare needs. Lastly, six main blocks for checking suppliers and the public to accept IoT and cloud healthcare applications are then acknowledged in this paper

The assessment process in an educational system is an important and primordial part of its success to assure the correct way of knowledge transmission and to ensure that students are working correctly and succeed to acquire the needed knowledge. In this study, we aim to include Semantic Web technologies in the E-learning process, as new components. We use Semantic Web (SW) to: 1) support the evaluation of open questions in e-learning courses, 2) support the creation of questions and exams automatically, 3) support the evaluation of exams created by the system. These components should allow for measuring academic performance, providing feedback mechanisms, and improving participative and collaborative ideas. Our goal is to use Semantic Web and Wireless technologies to design and implement the assessment system that allows the students, to take: web-based tutorials, quizzes, free exercises, and exams, to download: course reviews, previous exams and their model answers, to access the system through the Mobile and take quick quizzes and exercises. The system facilitates generation of automatic, balanced, and different exam sheets that contain different types of questions covering the entire curriculum, and display gradually from easiness to difficulty. The system provides the teachers and administrators with several services such as: store different types of questions, generate exams with specific criteria, and upload course assignments, exams, and reviews

Autism spectrum syndrome well known as autism. Autism was delivered within the 1920s century especially in 1944. Autism is described as a development disease that influences the social abilities, nonverbal communication or what's called body language. Human beings with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome tends to have high IQ however very low EQ[1]. In addition, person who suffers autism has a tendency to have a specific habitual, aggressive reaction while converting this habitual. The Proposed concept is to develop an algorithm/method for growing emotional intelligence. The goal of the proposed concept is to assist human beings with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome that tends to have under common EI to approach normality [2]. The program will use the high IQ of the person to increase his/her EQ. To achieve this it is intended to develop program that refuse any miss behavior, or inappropriate mind-set. The advanced application acts like human, who will no longer accept to be treated in a particular manner. To enhance ones EI, people with autism ought to be taught on: €¢ A way to cope with people in a manner they would accept.  €¢ The way to apprehend his/her emotion and accept it. €¢ The way to express their feelings.  The goal of the evolved program is to help autism users be given human beings and be selves ordinary. The program ought to teach person how to make buddies in the real existence

An efficient moving object extraction algorithm suitable for real-time content-based multimedia streaming systems is proposed in this paper. A Motion Vector (MV) based object extraction is used to dynamically detect the objects. To utilize the bandwidth efficiently, the important object can be real time detected, encoded, and transmitted with higher quality and higher frame rate than those of background. In order to meet the real-time requirement, no computationally intensive operation is included in this framework. Moreover, in order to guarantee the highest speed, all the implementation is operating on the compressed domain without need for decompression. Good extraction performance is demonstrated by the experiment results

Comparative Analysis for Boosting Classifiers in the Context of Higher Education

Machine learning techniques are applied on higher education data for analyzing the interac-tion between the students and electronic learning systems. This type of analysis serves in predicting students’ scores, in alerting students-at-risk, and in managing the degree of stu-dent engagement to educational system. The approaches in this work implements the divide and conquer algorithm on feature set of an educational data set to enhance the analysis and prediction accuracy. It divides the feature set into a number of logical subgroups based on the problem domain. Each subgroup is analyzed separately and the final result is the combi-nation of the results of the analysis of these subgroups. The classifier that shows the best prediction accuracy is dependent on the logical non-statistical nature of the features in each group. Both traditional and boosting classifiers are utilized on each dataset, from which a comparison is conducted to show the best classifiers along with the best dataset. This ap-proach provides the possibility to apply a brute force algorithm in the selection of the best feature subgroups with a low computational complexity. The experimental work shows a high prediction accuracy of the students-at-risk relative to the current research, and provides a list of new important features in the field of electronic learning systems

Visualization of patient’s anatomy is the most important pre-operation process in surgeries, minimally invasive surgeries are among these types of medical operations that counts totally on medical visualization before operating on a patient. However, medicine has a problem in visualizing patients’ through looking through multiple slices of scans, trying to understand the three-dimensional (3D) anatomical structure of patients. With Mixed Reality (MR) the developments in medicine visualization will become much easier and creates a better environment for surgeries. This will help reduce the excessive effort and time spent by surgeons to locate where the problem lies with patients without looking through multiple of two-dimensional (2D) slices, but to see patients’ bodies in 3D in front of them augmented in their reality, and to interact with it whatever pleases them. Moreover, this will reduce the number of scans that doctors will ask their patient’s for, which will result in less harmful x-ray dosages for both the patient and the radiologist. Biomedical development in medical visualization is an active research topic as it provides the physicians with required devices for clinically feasible way for diagnosis, follow-up and take decisions in different disease life line. Current clinical imaging facility can provide a 3D imaging that can be used to guide different interventional procedures. The main challenge is how to map the information presented in the digital image with the real object. This is commonly implemented by mental processing that requires skills from the medical doctor. This paper contributes to this problem by providing a mixed reality system to merge the digital image of the patient anatomy with the patient visual image. Anatomical image obtained from Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is mapped over the patient body using virtual reality (VR) head-mounted device (HMD)
